Temple FILLER IN TULSA

Temple Filler: CONSULTATION & TREATMENT

Before treatment, you will undergo a thorough consultation to determine if you are a candidate for temple filler, or if another service is a better fit. If you are a candidate for temple filler and time allows, we can complete treatment on the day of your consultation. Typically, a separate appointment is scheduled for treatment. The entire process takes an hour, on average.

After the consultation and prior to injections, before photos will be taken and a topical numbing cream will be applied. Once you are numb, the injection process takes about 15 - 30 minutes. The majority of patients report minimal pain and are able to continue their daily activities after treatment. Swelling and bruising are the most common side effects of any dermal filler treatment and can last anywhere from 48 hours up to two weeks.

TEMPLE INJECTIONS: DOWNTIME

At your appointment, you will be given after care instructions and a follow up appointment will be scheduled to assess your results. We always educate our patients on the healing process, which lasts up to 14 days. During the initial two weeks following your injections, it is normal to experience swelling, bruising and an uneven appearance. It is common for one side of the face to swell more than the other, and this should subside within two weeks.

TEMPLE FILLER: RESULTS

Dermal filler results are immediate. However, you are likely to experience the side effects above and full results may not be visible until two weeks following treatment. Temple filler can last 12-18 months, depending on the filler used. At your two-week follow up appointment, we will take photos and make any needed adjustments.
