Lip Injections in Tulsa
At Soul, we specialize in natural lip enhancement and use a variety techniques and hyaluronic acid fillers (Juvederm Ultra/ Ultra Plus, Volbella, and Belotero). Whether your goal is to add volume, erase lip lines ("smokers lines"), or to define your lip border, we will create a treatment plan that best suits your goals and your budget.
Lip Filler: CONSULTATION & TREATMENT
Before treatment, you will undergo a thorough consultation to determine if you are a candidate for lip filler. At this time, we will discuss your goals and budget. We encourage you to bring a "wish pic" or photo of the look you would like to achieve, especially if volume is your goal. If you are a candidate for lip filler and time allows, we can typically complete treatment on the day of your consultation. The entire process takes an hour, on average. Like any aesthetic service, multiple treatments may be needed to achieve your desired result.
After the consultation and prior to injections, before photos will be taken and a topical numbing cream will be applied. Once you are numb, the injection process takes about 15 - 30 minutes. The majority of patients report minimal pain and are able to continue their daily activities after treatment. Swelling is the most common side effect of any dermal filler treatment, especially in the lips and can last anywhere from 48 hours - two weeks.
Lip Filler: DOWNTIME
At your appointment, you will be given after care instructions and a follow up appointment will be scheduled to assess your results. We always educate our patients on the lip filler healing process, which lasts up to 14 days. During the initial two weeks following lip injections, it is normal for your lips and the area around your mouth to bruise, swell, and feel chapped or dry.
LIP INJECTIONS: RESULTS
Lip filler results are immediate, however you are likely to experience the side effects above and full results may not be visible until two weeks following treatment. Lip filler lasts up to 6-12 months, depending on the filler used. At your two-week follow up appointment, we will take photos and make any needed adjustments.
